第六章 Standard Parts and Commonly Used Parts：Screws, bolts, nuts, studs, washers, keys, pins, etc.,called fastener or connection, are ususlly used to join and fix in various machinery equipment. Because of the high output and wide use,their structures and dimensions are determined by national standards in order to increase design efficiency, reduce production costs, ensure quality as well as the convenient manufacturing and application.All the fasteners or connections, which obey national standards, are called standard parts. The emphasis of this chapter will be on the drawing methods, symbols and labeling of standard parts and commonly used parts.6.1Thread Overview:Threads are continuous protrusions or grooves found along a spiral line on a revolving component with the same cross sections. 6.9Other Standard and Commonly Used Parts:In this part we talk about other standard and commonly used parts, beside the threat ,gear. we also have other commonly used parts, like key, pin ,spring, bearing.
