第七章 X ray:In 1895, Roentgen discovered X ray, which is the electromagnetic wave with high frequency. The spectrums of X ray have two kinds, continuous and characteristic ones, which are come from the bremsstrahlung and the inner electron transition, respectively. When the photon interacts with electron, its frequency will be changed. It is the Compton scattering and shows the light as particle. 7.5Auger electron:The electron can escape from the atom in the production of X ray.
7.6Synchrotron Radiation:The synchrotron radiation is an advanced X ray with many advantages.
7.7Compton scattering:The frequency of light will be changed when it interacts with electron.
7.8Pair Production:In matter, when energy is enough, the photon can be transferred to electron and positron.
7.9Pair Annihilation:When electron and positron meet together, they will Annihilate.
7.10Photon absorption:The photon can be absorbed by matter.
